At SBS, we take compliance seriously. We proactively handle each order according to a standard designed to eliminate errors, support unbiased valuation transaction processing, and ensure timely delivery of a quality finished product.

 

Each appraisal report is checked for compliance with Federal and State regulations, and when applicable, mandated guidelines. Each appraisal report is also checked for internal consistency, industry accepted appraisal methods, and a logical value conclusion based on the data presented and supporting commentary.

 

As an Appraisal Management Company (AMC), SBS is dedicated to acting in compliance with state and federal laws that regulate AMCs. Every SBS employee that selects appraisers or reviews completed appraisals is trained in this program.
